Which CPU is it? Get another gigabyte of RAM and a e4/6xxx CPU and you have yourself a pretty good computer for the avarage home user.

Did it come with a Windows key?

It already have a graphic card, so unless you want to play some games you'll be fine. If you want some light gaming, I'd say search ebay (or this place) for a HD4670 or something that doesn't use a lot of power and is pretty cheap. Another gigabyte of memory will set you back .. $15 maybe? And you should be able to find a e4/e6xxx CPU for about €30ish. Do all that and you have yourself a pretty darn good machine you only spent $60-70 on.

That's not bad for $10US.

If you know any computer repair stores around i am sure they would have budget monitors and keyboards out the back somewhere.

I have messed with those DELLs and have found them ok, just not having PS/2 on them.

Plus most of the users had an expired Norton, plus a free anitvirus running on Vista with tons of mini games and tons of malware.

stop being an idiot okay i said it now

use your own monitor plug it into the vga port in back you can use a DVI cable just use a DVI to VGA adaptor which should have come with the GPU you bought for your system,

now once done turn machine on does it boot and run if yes

go to best buy buy a $99 1600x900 Acer VGA lcd,
grab a cheapo 2x2gb DDR2 kit or grab another 1gb stick of DDR2 that matches whats in the machine

if the gpu isnt enough grab a cheap 5450 off newegg pop it in the machine presto done.
Sapphire 5450 if you need it, $35 after rebate $25
SAPPHIRE 100291DDR3L Radeon HD 5450 512MB 64-bit D...
1gb DDR2 800mhz $16
Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400...
Hanns G 1440x900 19inch LCD widescreen $99
Hanns·G HW-191APB Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Mo...

total cost $160 with the $10 you already spent included

that gives you w.e the machine has in it probably a pentium 4 / D / Core 2 Duo most likely its a Pentium D or Pentium 4 either way add that in a gpu capable of hardware accelleration in todays internet browsers, along with 2gb of ram with a 160gb hdd means the family will have a pc thats good enough depending on what exact core 2 duo cpus the mobo supports you can get a cheapo dual core

if the mobo supports it
http://cgi.ebay.com/1-86GHz-Intel-C...9SA-/200604379902?pt=CPUs&hash=item2eb4f3eafe
1.86ghz dual core E6300 thats $25 more so total cost then would be $185 for a dual core system with 2gb of ram 5450 and 160gb hdd, with half that cost being just the monitor itself.

Now not to sound like a dick but that took 30 seconds of brain power to figure out ppl already posted all the info you needed

the board has PCIe x16 1.0 slot x1
it uses ddr2
supports P4 PD Core 2 Duo
the mobo has an IGP,
u should have the hardware on hand to test it without needed anything else. not rocket science, im just gonna guess laziness  which happens to us all lol
