This is BY FAR the best website to compare your hardware with other!
You can compare your i7 with a Pentium II or your HD5870 with a Matrox Millenium!
Its great, if you wanna compare your old rig with your new one or your laptop with your desktop!
The site is german but i had no problem in using it, although i am german! :p

The top is GPU and the bottom is CPU!

Click on "Direkt Vergleich" if you want to compare your CPU/GPU directly with other CPU's/GPU's!

It's great and I use it everytime I upgrade hardware to kinda make an image of the improvement and performance!!!

they are quite vague what the value represents, it's certainly better than nothing

I don't think it's nearly as helpful as AnandTech's comparative site. There, you can select the exact cpus to compare directly. They also have a GPU bench comparison, as well.

indeed, i also think they scale SLI and Crossfire scores too linearly, but as a rough estimate, it will suffice i guess;)

what i like about the german site is, that you can compare 5 different GPUs at the same time... i definetly liked that feature :)

Ah, I see that now. That is pretty handy. I thought all links were like the first couple, just lists of the top performers. Neat.

ETA: Hmm. You still just get the bar graph of percentages, but multi cpus is nice.
