Japanese cooling expert Scythe is introducing today the mainstream PC Chassis "Ikazuti". Scythe expands the PC Chassis portfolio by adding this midi tower model which is packed with many useful features including an optimized airflow as well as very decent overall design.

Inside and outside of Ikazuti PC Case is kept in a decent black color creating a balanced and harmonic design. Users have yet to choose of tree different front panels which are available in Black, Silver and Dark Silver. Inside the midi tower is enough space for five 5.25 inch drives as well as four 3.5 inch Hard Disks which can be easily mounted using the integrated tool-free mounting system. Hence allows users to not only mount drives fast but safe and as well as avoiding hassle.

Furthermore two of Scythes famous and awarded axial 120 mm fans from the Slip Stream 120 Series are already built in providing effectively silent operation at 800 rpm. In case this is not enough it is possible to mount up to two further 120 mm case fans in the side panel as well as another one in the top panel. In order to avoid dust intrusion Ikazuti PC Case is equipped with a dust filter in the front, bottom as well as top panel.

Mainboard Tray allows mounting of mainboards with ATX, Micro ATX, Flex ATX form factors and is equipped with holes for easy Cable Management as well as Maintenance Hole for mounting of CPU Coolers with back plate mounting systems. Further usability is achieved by including a convenient I/O Panel in the front which is hiding behind a door in the lower part of the Ikaziti front panel. Users are able to connect up to two USB 2.0-Ports, one eSATA-Port as well as one Audio-Out and one Mic-Input.

New Ikazuti PC Case is available as of today in three different front panel colors each for 58.50 EUR (excl. VAT/TAX). For more information, visit the product page.

There is a standard internal USB 3.0 header.

Looks like the same OEM as Nzxt uses for their budget cases like the M59, Beta Evo, etc.

Even with the PSU at the bottom? Isn't that the best place for it? :p

maybe because there's no standard usb 3.0 internal header?

well, that is not correct.
more and more motherboards coming with usb 3.0, 20 pin header on the board, all the new AMD APU boards will support the new norm.

here is what it looks like:

I have a USB 3.0 ports on my Lian li case, yet i plugged them easily to my motherboards USB 2.0 connectors. Also the connector doesn't look anything like the one on the picture above my post.

yes, usb 3.0 will work with usb 2.0, you will not get the super speed, it will work as a usb 2.0.

the first step in usb 3.0 were computer cases with the blue usb 3.0 ports on the front of the case and with long cables you had to plug into the back of your motherboard.
and the first motherboards came with just 2 blue ports on the back IO. like this:

now we have motherboards with an internal header on the board, as i showed in my other post

if you have a case with the blue usb 3.0 ports on the front and long blue usb 3.0 cables you need a converter to connect to the new motherboard internal header. like this Bitfenix one:

Lian Li make one as well it is called: UC-01
here it is:

hope this helps

In my case you can do it either by routing USB 3.0 ports from the back to the front or by splitting the cable and attaching 8 pin standard USB 2.0 connector to the motherboard. I had to attach 2 of them on mobo to get 2 USB 2.0 ports working in the front.
