Well, i just made a huge mistake in my Mass Effect game. Ashley Williams killed Wrex. My friend just told me that i should have talked to wrex and ashely while on the Normandy about their problems so that this wouldn't happen. I feel like i kind of just ruined the entire Mass Effect experience for myself. Wrex was my favorite, and i used him for a lot of combat stuff

im in the middle of the assult on Virmire but i have no idea what im doing, im still kind of pissed off at killing wrex and i might just take a break from this game for a while and come back and start over

EDIT: nvm my friend also killed wrex and i guess you find out why thats a good thing in ME2

Sounds to me like a person that did not subscribe to the SOS mantra: Save Often, Stupid.

Ah well, live and learn. In any game with RPG elements like this, save as often as you can.

i did the whole F6 quick save as often as i could. I didn't know you could go to ESC and SAVE till now. I wish i could get a save file from someone thats at the same point as me, but i dont think thatll happen

Lesson number 2 in gaming: Quick save sucks balls. lol. It just overwrites the same save over and over.

I make a normal save before approaching anyone in the game and heavily use quick save during combat. In your average RPG game, I usually end up with between 100-500 saves by the time a beat it.

yea same here... tho not in the hundreds... i think i had about 70 saves by the time i played thru.

i don't want to spoil anything for you (OP) but your actions in ME1 do have an effect in ME2. (esp wrex)

When you next do a playthrough save them both and it make your life in 2nd game easier.

i killed wrex in first game...didnt like him.
but in second i tried to protect garrus as much as i could..but in the end he was killed..he is my fav character..sheapard sucks balls infront of him.
looks like i would have to wait for the save hack before the third game comes.
BTW how many of ur crew members were killed in second??mine 4 were killed.
