Upcoming Game Contest

In the next week or two a new contest will be posted here in the Games section for members to win a Steam game.
If anyone has an extra copy of a Steam game, or if they would like to purchase one to gift, and would like to be one of the prize givers, please let me know.
If you wish to be a contributor there is no min or max on the value of the game, it's up to you.
The idea is to just have a bunch of games to give away for a fun contest.

Note : Prize givers cannot win in the contest (otherwise people will think it's rigged).
Anyone offering a prize will be listed as the giver so they get the kudos for helping to make TPU the "Best Place To Be on the Interwebz™"
The rules of the contest will be presented when the contest goes live and will be for TPU members only.

This is your last chance to become a hero and legend in the annals of the TPU gaming section by ponying up and contributing something to the upcoming Steam givaway contest.

Sure, you can sit back in the comfort of your ccomputer chair and selfishly play your miriad of Steam games, but you will never have the awesome feeling of knowing you were part of a greater effort to promote both TPU and the gamers who are not as well off as you. You will never know the feeling of nameless strangers cheering as you drive down the street who were thankful for your contribution. You will never be able to smile as women offer to have your children because of your thoughtless and altruistic actions or of receiving a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping global wars by making more people interested in gaming than killing each other.

But hey ... your call ... no presure or anything.

I think that's what i'll do. And whats the point of winning something you could buy yourself. I've never quite understood that. But then again, I am the most uncompetetive person

But if you do got the money, then thats what this post is for, contributors to this contest cannot win prizes, and you help supply games to those with less.

You talking about donating? It can be anything, lots of great cheap games (Beat Hazzard, Terraria, and a bunch more). Just pick one up and offer it as a prize.

Crikey ... you guys are awesome !! I'm going to have to make a spreadsheet to manage the people donating.

To the people considering, you can donate ANY game or you can say "any game for less than $X.XX", it does not matter.
If you want to gift from another digital distribution, that's fine too (just state what it is so people have the hardware to play it ... ie. console or whatever).

Current count is at about 16 games for the contest. There are duplicates, but there are probably many people who have not played some of the games.

I wished steam would implement a feature were you can give your old games away that you never play anymore. I would even play 3-5$ to tranfer games if it was possible. Say you have a copy of portal that you never play and your friend wants the game you can transfer it to his account for a small fee and be done with it.
