quick 6950 -> 6970 question

I flashed my 6950 to a 6970 with the extra shaders etc etc. My question is, what if I reinstall windows? Will the card still be a 6970? I'm asssuming it saved it to the card, but I'm not 100% sure. Thanks.

U can reinstall Win and even change the whole setup...!The info is "inside" the card and always will be unless u decide otherwise...have fun with the extra shaders:toast:

Yes it's in the BIOS chip on the card itself now and independent of anything else.
