What kind of interfaces are used between RAM, CPU and HDD?

Depends on the platform.

Intel, QPI (QuickPath Interconnect)or DMI (Direct Media Interface)is used to reach I/O controllers in chipsets.

AMD uses HTT (HyperTransport Technology) to connect CPU and chipsets.

Each has different data flows, HTT connects CPU to Chipset, but also contains PCIe data as well as disk data.

Memory interfaces are standardized, however, bit-width(64-bit or 128-bit) of the bus differs from platform to platform.
