Moving to a new location build! $1000-1500

Our shop is moving to a new better location down the road and we are going to setup a really cool display in the front area (2 to 5 tv's/monitors to demo games, security cameras, or whatever we can come up with that looks cool).

There are only a couple things I am set on...
1- This Lian-Li case (M-ATX formfactor)
2-Eyefinity for the multi-display
3-Clean interior (like modular PSU, matching colors ya know the stuff to make it look really neat)


My 1st idea was something along the lines of...
-i5 2500k (w/ corsair AIO water cooler or similar)
-8-16GB of RAM
-ATI HD 6950 2GB
-SSD (around the 120gb mark) w/ 1tb secondary drive for data/programs
-750w corsair pro series
-blu-ray ROM/DVD-RW

Ideas? newegg is my preferred site.

If the system is going to be open on display as well, I'd go for a H80 instead of H60 because of the variable controller on the block, looks really nice.

Yes, 2-5 displays (undecided on how many but lets just say 3) mounted on the wall with the machine itself running all of them, the tower will probably be mounted right under or above the displays on a shelf and will be using a wireless kb/mouse.

I see the mobo updated. The only thing I'd change, since the system will be on display, is maybe take out that 6950 and put in 2 x 6870s if they fit in well, would look nice with the crossfire bridge and all.

I like how it's looking, would make an awesome display for a small case. You could always go with 1 fan on the H80, like the H60 comes...seems like a viable solution since I think there will be not overclocking involved.

Lets just say I wanted to try to bring it down to about the $1000 mark

Could we go with a cheaper pair of GPU's and maybe a different processor? I would say ditch the SSD... but the SSD experience really blows people away with how quick it is and considering it will be on display and used as a demo I'd like to keep it.

Why not get a nice case like the level 10 GT or a HAF-X since the price points aren't that radically different? Both seem much bigger/more impressive in my opinion and would provide a nice display of a large case and the space they provide?

Instead of ditching the SSD, why not going for a lower size? It will cut down a bit to start with, only going to have the OS. Gonna look for a couple of GPUs for you.

Edit: 2 x HD6770 would be the same price of the HD6950 roughly while having the awesomeness of Crossfire to display.

Personally I've always been a huge fan of a 'clean' and efficent look, level 10 and HAF-X are IMO just too much to look at with all the angles to them. However... if you had a suggestion for a 'clean' looking case im always open

Since he's targeting to go cheaper I'd say go with the 800D looks but cut the cost down to get the 650D
