Direct X issue with Runescape

Please no comments on me playing Runescape with this rig or anything like that, it is just a game I enjoy because I have played it since I was like 8 years old lol.

Moving on, whenever I play the game and try to use the Direct X settings the game just tends to look rather poor in comparison, slightly blurry and the colors do not seem as crisp for some reason.

I have DirectX, Google Chrome, and Java all updated to the latest version.

Are you trying to play at a low resolution in fullscreen on a LCD monitor? That's would be a reason why.

No, even when I try to play at 1920 x 1080 in fullscreen it does the same thing :/

see if their are options for triple buffering etc.

The options are rather limited :/ only real option their is anti-aliasing.

might have an issue with your newer hardware, does it have an open gl mode?

if not does software mode look better or worse than the directx mode?

Software mode looks better than either Open gl or Direct X in clarity at least, the only modes were I can use anti-aliasing to keep the game from looking like crap however are Open gl and Direct X.

Try maxing out Anistropic Filtering in CCC.

sounds like you need a game patch to me. They just released a new on yesterday but it doesn't mention new gpu support. I didn't ask though, is this new or has it always been this way on the current rig?
