dosent matter really the companions in Skyrim feel weak and lackluster

they dont level with the player, so there weak in fights late game, *there level is determined by when you talk to them the first time.

no Khajiits or Bosmer Elfs, but they do have Argonians haha

companions lack backstory or any real sense of being special, unlike Fallout 3 / NV where each companion felt unique and special,

hopefully the creation kit arrives soon so the above can be fixed up. none of this is game breaking and mods will fix it with relative ease.

lol im 99 hours in on that pic, that is scary to see how much of my life is gone in such a short time. I've only seen Solitude for the first time as well, I've already bought a house in whiterun damnit!

lol im 70 hours in beat the first main story line, working on the 2nd then its various extra content, probably gonna start my next playthrough soon,

currently waiting again on construction set / creation kit, so i can edit 2 handed sword to a 1 handed sword and dual wield it, plan to make a specially enchanted 2 sword set that when equipped it allows the other to be used in dual wield setup should be pretty damn fun.

That last bit didn't make any sense to me. You're going to equip two swords and still somehow be able to dual-wield another two?

two 2-handed swords as a set, that when you equip one you are able to equip the other and dual wield. otherwise each one is a separate two hand, i think.

main quest was done at 16 ish hours.
Done most of the daedra shrines.
am the leader of the dark brotherhood
am the leader of the mages guild
am the leader of the thieves guild
Done a few side quests, including the mythic dawn ones, and the one that uses those dragon claw keys.
Got up to 94 smithing and 93 enchanting (working on this atm)
I have 1 house (whiterun)
Currently using a crafted Daedric bow (legendary) with 2 sec soul trap (will be swapped out to something else when i complete enchanting). And a full suit of enchanted glass. (37% bow damage increase where possible). My bow base damage is 180 before arrow and 3x stealth boost.

The best bit for me so far has to be the killing of the emperor with the dark brotherhood... That whole story line was sweet as!!

Am I the only one that finds it completely retarded that the Blades are sworn to protect the dragonborn thats pretty much rule #1 no ifs ands or buts, yet if you dont kill Parthanax they refuse to help you.... hmm seems a bit ridiculous for them to gush over me tell me they MUST protect me that its there sacred duty, the fact I restore them to there temple I recruited there new members I KILLED THE DAMN DRAGONS but the fact i get a dragon to bend to my will and be at my beck and call isnt good enough, they still require me to kill Parthanax no matter what whom pretty much teaches you everything in order to defeat Alduin it just seems pretty damn retarded the Blades toss your ass out after helping them get back on there feet.... screw the blades once i get the creation kit im building my own damn castle with my own guards and my own faction tired of weak story lines gameplay is fun story was decent but some choices and plot twists make no damn sense. also the temple the blades live in is pretty weak, its suppose to be the headquarters but no way to make weapons or armor etc, seems kinda lame, Hopefully modding and some DLC can spruce this up as im moving on to character #2

For those curious about the max level (and therefore max amount of perks), I found the following on UESP:

The game imposes a soft cap at level 50. Past level 50, leveling up happens much more slowly. The theoretical level cap (maximum level) is level 81, reached by increasing all skills to 100.(tested with player.advskill console cheat)

One implication of the leveling system is that although it is possible to create a character with 100 in all skills, it is not possible for one character to unlock all skill perks. There are more than 250 total skill perks (including multi-point perks), but only around 80 of them can be unlocked by any given character.

You might want to try planning your skill perk progression with this nice Skill Perk Selector tool, which I found on UESP's Character Creation page.

Your companion can carry an unlimited number and weight of stuff, but only if you tell them to pick them up in command mode.

You can skip the dialog and go straight to command mode by pointing your reticle/cursor at your companion from far enough away that the "talk" option doesn't appear, and holding the 'use' button.

With these two tips combined, you can go through a dwemer ruin, point at Lydia (or whoever), hold 'use', point at a heavy metal object, press 'use', and she'll pick it up. Rinse, repeat--you've got over a thousand pounds of smelt-able dwemer stuff, go make 500 Dwarven bars!

Fortunately they were weak dragons and slayed in a few seconds as they both decided to land on the ground.

Tried using the Wabberjack on a dragon.....doesn't work

Heard about the perk limit.
Fortunately I'm not fussed about maxing them out.
I am happy enough with getting a few select top perks in specific areas.

My character is already lethal enough as it is.
Mainly concentrating on getting the top enchanting perk at the moment.

I think you need to get smithing up to 100 to make dragon armor.

The big texture packs right now are Beautiful Skyrim (from brooms to berries; constantly being updated as he does additional things) and the Flora one for trees and such though just noticed a Landscape one too though says WIP. Though they are mostly all Works In Progress at this point.
