Hello TPU!

I am still selling my Gaming PC for Php35,000 (or $802)
so there is a 50-50 chance that it would be sold.

For now, I am looking for parts and bits for my new PC that I would be building after I sell my older PC..
I have been very picky about hardwares and components for my PC, but now I think I'm a little distracted. I mean I don't know what hardware to purchase now, but before, I knew what to buy right away. Could you guys please help me build a new PC? :)

My budget is strictly $1262 (w/c is Php 55,000 in the PH)
but I would still ask my parents (yes, Im still 16) to add a hundred dollars. :toast:

What I would at least want:
at least 6GB of DDR3 RAM..
an SSD
1TB HDD
optical drive (sata)
a non-dual-core cpu (must be at least 4 cores)

and I think that is all :)

PS sorry for a very long post

edit: monitor not included. gaming mouse/keyboard (optional)

I would make my own picks for now.

these are:
core i5 (quad core, still. or if there is a six-core intel that is cheap now i would prefer it)
nVidia GTX 560Ti
Asus mobo (idk what to choose:/)
60GB SSD for OS, 1TB HDD for games
CM Storm Enforcer (looks good, and functionality is pretty good also)
700W PSU?
8GB of DDR3 RAM. (1600 - 1800 or 2300 mhz)
Corsair H50 or H70 Cooler

would this be good? :) what are your suggestions?

If this is for gaming, get yourself a GTX 580 and a better PSU. Save money and game better at the same time.

This is for gaming, and a few animation-making (only a few). I am quite convinced with the GTX 580.. That wouldn't take half of my budget right? :) what is your suggestion on the PSU?

is i5 2500k a great choice? How is it better than an i5 760?
I heard Asrock is an Asus alternative.. maybe I would buy one :)
for the gtx 580... wow that's alot of money  but Ill see, baka bilin ko na din.
yes, indeed. SSD's are very expensive here in the PH. It's like paying 1000 Php for 10 GB of SSD. I'll find a cheaper one if there is :)

For the casing, is CM Storm enforcer(my choice) a good choice? :D

the i5 2500k is the best bang for buck choice for any gamer. Its more than enough to power a seriously good gaming system.

The CM Storm Enforcer is a good case, and for the system you are looking to put in it, its plenty good enough.

The setup Entropy13 put together would be a good choice in my opinion.

Good luck :D

Any alternatives for the Z68? The maximus V is too pricy.. My budget will be raised because of the board. :) 10k budget

MSI Z68-GD65, if you want. Or Asus P8Z68V-PRO. I saw your other thread where you mention an increased budget. Getting a bigger SSD is more worth it than investing more on the motherboard.
