Max Safe temps/voltage on X2 rigs.

Since I am getting my X2 3600+ 65nm on monday, I need to know what the safe temps/voltages are on the X2's. I know on the single cores I keep under 50*C and stay around 1.6V, but I was thinking that the dual cores were different.

Also, I will be running an Arctic Freezer pro.

Anyone? I know there are people that are OC X2's. I guess I am going to max around 1.5V and under 45*C.

Most people feel that 1.5v and 50*c are the limits, tho I probably wouldn't exceed 1.45v on mine for very long. That's for the 90nm, tho. I would imagine the 65's being different.

Thanks. I will see what the stock voltage is and then I will go from there. I can't find hardly any information on this CPU, so I guess I am going to be winging it and posting the results for anyone else.

I agree with you. I wouldn't go over 1.5v myself, unless using peltier/water cooler or some sort of heavy duty cooling, and I always try and ensure that the core temp doesn't exceed 50C. I'm pretty conservative when it comes to OC'ing.

If I am correct, the 65mn should require even less power, so I am probably going to be sticking around 1.45V until I am sure nothing bad will happen.

Yes, I think that is right. 1.45v is fairly safe IMO. :)
