Unless it has analog controls (right back foot) (left front foot) and it switches on riding stance then the game wont be that interesting.

I have played Skate -1 -2 -3 , Tonyhawk PS3 releases/ps3 releases.

Skate 3 blows everything out of the water, a true skate game.
You can do anything in skate 3, Anything. When it comes to skating and tweaking your tricks.

If anyone has ever been interested in skating or very much involved in skating, I don't think that being able to do ANYTHING would qualify as being very fun or realistic IMO. For ex: A double back flip

The original Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2 by far the best original old school skating games there are.

The Tony Hawk Pro Skater series is a straight up arcade game. it's about racking up points while listening to bad music and playing with the level editor.

This is so true. It wasn't even ALL punk music. It had a little mix of very good tracks. I loved both of em to death!! Actually still have both of them on my Dreamcast which is in the closet collecting dust (poor thing).

Bumblebee is right! Its an arcade style game, the originals where FUN! The last Pro Skater i liked was THPS 3. Skate is a great series of games but its like comparing Serious Sam to Battlefield, both good series but different styles of FPS.
