Ok, here's the rumor; I have heard that when using a USB Keyboard/Mouse combo, gamming reaction time will be reduced by using a PCI USB adapter card. Is this true, is there any proof of this?

You can hook up 127(I think that the number) devices up to a USB port

you can in theory but it depends on how much bandwidth the certain device uses, for example my old sagem f@st 800dsl modem hogged about 80% of my usb bandwidth, i couldnt even play games with my gamepad as when i plugged it in if the modem was already in, windows would tell there is not enough bandwidth. (glad i scrapped that pos, have a netgear wireless router now)

also to the question in hand, theres going to be no noticeable difference either way, if your experiencing lag try getting a gaming mouse with1200-200dpi.

No noticable lag, got a Logitech G15/G5 combo and it works great! Just the question about the performance increase or not.

ALso those replys bring up some more questions.

How do you know how much bandwidth your USB devices use. And how do you total them up and how do you find out how much bandwidth is available on your system.
