Responding to the market's new-found love for white colored components, Thermaltake announced a few "Snow Edition" products, including the Frio Snow Edition, pictured below. This cooler uses the same exact design as the original version, but replaces the black+red plastic parts of it with white+blue, including a white colored fan impeller. It is a typical aluminum fin tower-type heatsink with two pre-fitted 120 mm fans in push-pull configuration. It measures 139 x 98 x 165 mm (LxWxH), weighing a little over 1 kg. Another feature of this cooler is out-of-the-box support for socket LGA2011.

I doubt they think people will buy it because its sounds cold..... :nutkick:
It's for people that like white. More people are stating to like the old fridge look.

We are not talking people like you or me , We are talking about all them mouth breathers out there that have not a clue at all the ones that go to best buy to pick this thing off the shelf ! So by your reasoning, the white Level 10 GT, which is the Level 10 GT Snow Edition, would be "cooler" temps-wise than its black counterpart?

They may be non-enthusiasts, but they're not necessarily idiots. That would be the Apple cultists. And obviously they won't be buying the Frio Snow anyway.

Yes . Black attracts heat , Every one knows that a car with a black interior gets hot while the white one stays cool . So the morons looking at this one next to the same model of black color will not hesitate to grab the one with the most cooler color , This would be white .
It is all about marketing and re-branding . How many here really think that this looks just like all the rest of the ones they have out ? I do ! Other than the color that is . ;)

Yes . Black attracts heat

Black absorbs heat from light. A black cooler or a white cooler won't make a difference since the CPU is giving off heat, not light.
