Do you have a monitor, mouse etc? If so that'll make it alot easier for you to buy a dedicated gaming rig with quite decent parts.

I'm guessing it's the color code for reviewers.

I dunno. I wasn't notified of the change...I took a break after the past few reviews, came back, and this is how it is.

BUT... I've been doing board reviews for TPU for about a year now, so I'm sure that's why. Before I guess it was easy for me to hide.

I was serious about Dell, BTW. IF you are in North America, they have fantastic warranty service in major population centers. To the point you get replacement parts the next day. Yes, you cna find and build your own cheaper. But a good warranty is nice to have too.

That looks like the best gaming PC from THAT site for your budget.... all of the Intel systems listed have integrated graphics or cost more.

If you're not building your own and just starting out this may be a good 1st gamer for you.

HDD: WD Caviar Black 500GB

There's your $700 system :)

EDIT:

You can go cheaper on the PSU (TX550M instead).

This build can play everything at 1920x1080 with High graphics settings (low, medium, *HIGH*, Ultra).

I highly recommend the AMD HD 6870, but if you want to save a few more bucks, the HD 6850 is also a fine choice!

Oh, my mistake.

High end Computer retailers often provide savvy tech services where they can build your PC for you, with parts of your choice. They charge at least $50 for a full build.

The parts I listed only cost $650 (here in Canada).

You might want to consider that instead, as you can get a better video card and power supply to go along with it.

Try Cyberpower or Ibuypower directly

See what they have for specials- the configuration spec'd by Evolved will be fine as a 1st gamer (HD6850 or HD6870 graphics are good choices)
