Most people wont care but I was a teen when the Mortal Kombat series was introduced to the world in all its graphic glory. It has been delayed and delayed again, but appears to finally be available. Has anyone purchased this yet? If it hits Steam I most certainly will.

7 fighters from the first 3 MK games? How is this better than Mortal Kombat trilogy? Which has like all fighters from all three games and some extra.

Edit: Read it wrong, doesn't change the question though, how is this better?

Loved the first two MK games. still remember most of the fatalities, friendships, babalities, etc. I think I'll go play it today

EDIT: just looked at the system requirements! When the original MK came out on the PC, you needed a 386 running at 33MHz to play it I think. Now the recommended system for this release needs a 7900GS or better?!! How demanding can the game be?!!

Ha, I still remember that I played these Mortal Kombat games on the Super Nintendo, MK2 was the best out of the series in my opinion. My last MK game was MK3 also for the Super Nintendo. I wish it was possible to release a Killer Instinct collection instead; I remembered the arcade version looked totally awesome, even more awesome than the MK3 arcade machines. It will probably never not happen, even not releasing on the Xbox 360, since Microsoft needs RARE to make those Kinect games (and Perfect Dark 2 where are you?).

I recall playing the original MK on 3.5" floppy back in the day on a 486dx 33 i think lol Maybe it was a 66 it's been a while :confused:

I think they should have stuck with the original game just brought it's graphic's up to par and maybe introduced some envirometal interaction's
