Yes and no...this is a mod for Dragon Scale so yeah you'd craft a set of that and trade it into her inventory and if it's better than her present gear she will automatically equip it. Problem is Lydia only likes Heavy Armor as far as I could determine (higher Heavy Armor skill I guess) and Dragon Scale is Light. Sounds like you will need to keep looking for some Heavy you like then craft and give her a set of that to get whatever mod you choose enabled. If you find one for regular Steel that's what she's already wearing so mod should just work offhand...

Dragon plate is heavy though, and the mod also makes that white. Its has the odd shoulder pads.

As far as I can tell, you have virtually unlimited power with the CK. if crazyeyes can make a war club that looks like a giant doggy bone with blood and dragon language, I'm sure you can change the class of an armor.

i dont know why you dont just use the CK, to set her default outfit to something other then Steel Armor, this way she wont default to it, instead give her clothes or no default outfit (there selection is determined by pre set outfits) with no outfit selected she will wear whatever you put in her inventory, This is just an educated guess but i could be motivated to test it i suppose.

EDIT my hunch was Correct Here is Lydia after my edit and then loading into the game

In the above if you move ALL the way to the top it has an option NONE, this = Nude no armor just your skivvies or what have you. Setting that to NONE and then dropping the armor you want her to wear into her Inventory means thats what she should wear at all times, or for those that prefer safe for work just give Lydia some normal clothes that way no matter what you give her it will take priority.

well managed to finally fix the Spec Map and Normal Map issues, apparently the tools are more broken then I original thought, the nif files and conversion process dosent even apply the proper UV coordinates aka usuall its set to 0 or 1, I have to set it to 4097 then manually update tangent spaces to get the rest of the textures to apply properly altho once done everything looks like it should

Now that ive fixed those extremely annoying issues, heres the proper Dragonbone Smasher in Game, compare these to earlier shots in the thread youll see a very large difference
New

Old youll notice its flat has hell in the Old shot obviously do to no normal map and its extremely shiny due to no spec map

With that fixed expect more weapons to show up soon.

Wow, back and already very willing to make an ass of yourself. Good to see that some things never change, no matter the amount of time one spends on ice.

On a less angry note, that's the costume the god on insanity wears.

Oh for Christ's sake it was a joke and not even a particularly offensive one at that as far as these things go.

Yes, Shergeroth's outfit. You can see it listed in his CK screenies above.

Nice work crazyeyes...

Yes, the god, not goddess, of insanity. Woman in a man's clothes? Reason enough to say "dyke". Insanity? Reason enough to say "clown". Seems logical to me.

Dragonbone Smasher now available on Skyrim Nexus

would appreciate some feedback, and endorsements
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9866

Not played the game it's from, but just had a look at the original weapon, handle needs a bit of fancification and a wee bit more noise/grain on the flat part (on a normal map maybe) But aside from that great work dude :toast:

Wouldn't use the weapon in my own Skyrim but it does look epic.

Well, I was getting stuttering in BF3 with my 6950's and disabling ULPS solved it. Always best to use the latest CAP profile with CrossFire.. any previous CAP's are built in to the latest one so you just need to install the latest. Easiest way to disable ULPS is to open the registry, ctrl+f, type ulps and it will take you right to it. Change the value from 1 to 0. There will be another entry in the "00001, 00002" folder(s) as well.

Erocker I can't thank you enough for that registry fix. It stopped Skyrim from stuttering when indoors and in dungeons! I used to have 60 fps but the screen used to 'shiver' all the time (while remaining at 60 fps). Ever since I disabled ulps that shivering stopped :)

I wish I could fly Odahviing. This game sucks 'cause of that, lol.
Anybody ever played a game called "Drakan"? Very similar to Skyrim, 'xcept it's from like 1999, and you can fly dragons =.=;
