My guess is that while what game people felt was worthy of the "Best game ever" was interesting, the fact that the site allowed you to post a link to give you more chances amounted to just a thinly veiled attempt at getting more hits for the site ... and thus spam.

If someone would like to start a thread on what people think is the best game ever in the games section, they are quite welcome.
