Was trying to remove a glued backplate on my Rampage III, and now two mem slots dead

I tried to remove with a help from a tool, i make a tiny scratch on the mobo next to the cpu, very tiny. Also installed a new water block.
So what could i have, bent CPU pins or just destroyed my mobo?

Its weird that CPUz recognizes the memory, but aida and windows and bios wont

Also die whomever designed the raystorm backplate glue

Have you tried booting and seeing if you even have any problems, if the cpu was in at the time and its only a small scratch then you wouldnt have bent any pins and should be fine.

Yeah it booted and i didn't remove the CPU. Im using it right now. But is it possible that i scratched the RAM lanes? I tried CMOS reset and tried changing the memories, im certain that isn't the memory, its slots 3-4.
How are the odds i mean the printed circuitry is so small, how would i hit that exactly

All this because i wanted to replace the raystorm with a EK HF, temps are better LOL CRY

it MIGHT the correct way would be to remove the damaged section of trace and solder in a new trace followed with special film and coating http://www.soldertools.net/products/PCB-Trace-Repair-Kit.html
next time use a heat-gun to remove a glued on back-plate
if u use a conductive pen MAKE sure to seal over it with some clear nail-polish or some clear coat or it WILL short out

nope not nail polish remover NAIL POLISH clear works best if you can't get that use automotive clear coat

May have just over tightened the waterblock.
