Counter Strike: Source

So while we wait for Counter Strike: GO to come out, I know some of you would still love to play some CSS. Sure, I know there's newer shooters out there, and while I play those as well, sometimes it's nice to come back to some good counter strike fun.

I've set up a counter strike server here at work for any and all TPU members to play on. It's still in it's teething process, but it's beginning to take form into a dang nice server.

The server's ip is Server shut down due to lack of use. 6/28/2012

I am currently looking for some more admins for the server, as my co-worker and I can only be on so much.

Let me know if you are experiencing high ping problems, lag spikes, etc. I will gladly do my best to fix the issue.

Hope to see you guys on the server sometime, my brother and I normally play around 7 - 8 PM Pacific time.

I was never a CSS fan even though I have played it quite alot. I am more the traditional 1.6 or Condition Zero fan. I think they ruined the game with source but that's me :/

Counterstrike and Counter Strike Source is one of the most played games on steam.

Yet I have never played it.

I prefer co-op shooters like Killing Floor though.

Spent so much time playing this game back in the day.
I have a pretty slow LCD that does some ghosting on FPS games, terrible for Counter strike.
Maybe I'll log in and up somebodies K/D ratio lol.

I'm a huge 1.6 fan. I have CSS on steam but I don't play it.

I hope they bring back the 1.6 gameplay in GO. :toast:

Then you will be more disappointed by CS:GO.
