psu problem? or something else?

So i bought an NZXT hale82 650w psu to power my rig.
NZXT HALE82 HALE82-650-M 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI ...

i5-3570k
gigabyte z77-ud3
palit gtx 680 jetstream 2gb
2x4gb generic ram
250gb hdd

I was able to get it running for an hour to install windows and other programs. Turned it off and called it a night. Next morning, the unit won't turn on. Even the psu's fan isn't spinning. Is the problem with the psu or could it have been caused by something else? Thanks!

use a paper clip and jump the green and any black in the 24-pin of the PSU and see if it fires up.
Of course this is when the PSU is disconnected from the motherboard.

The supply he has is one of the better supplies in it's catagory.

Back on topic:

Turn off the switch on the PSU.
Un-plug the PSU from the wall for a few minutes.
Check all your connections, again.
Then plug it back into the wall.
Turn on the switch on the PSU.
And, try to start the system.

If plugged into a surge suppressor/powerstrip or any other device, make sure it is turned on and has power.

Thanks for the replies! Tried the paperclip test but it failed at that so I just sent it back for a replacement.

I should have taken that further as some PSUs need a load to turn on. IE a 12V fan or something small works. Oh well, its for the RMA department to figure out now
