I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me thoughts on an upcoming build/setup.

Newegg Wishlist of the Build:
Once You Know, You Newegg

<<< For a quick glance of the main parts, look at my System Specs.

A few things to note:
I have some of the parts already.
I'll be getting the ASUS GTX 670's (not available yet), NOT the 680's!
I'm showing some of the peripherals, to show the theme I am going for.
I already have an asus monitor, matching the one in the list, so there will be 3 total, Ben-Q in the middle.
I will be running the Adobe Suite, 3D Rendering (C4D and 3DS), and gaming, of course.
I can't decide between the 5.1 Logitech Speakers, or the higher quality M-Audio Monitors (They are $115, NOT the price in the wishlist)

Also, I have a few things already, that will help you picture the completed setup:
Microsoft Sidewinder X6 Keyboard
Red Axiom 49 Midi Keyboard (Piano)
Black Drawing Tablet
My Dad's studio monitors (Will be replaced by either the Logitech or M-Audio Speakers)

Thanks in advance to anyone that gives me their feedback! :D

I am getting 4 Sticks of 4GB. The only step up is 4 Sticks of 8GB, but at 4X the cost. :/

i strongly suggest a bigger SSD, at least 200gbs , i am constantly faced with low free space on my 120gb SSD, you can only imagine how annoying it would be on a $3000 setup
excellent choice on the video card

It's really only double price for 32GB. G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DD...

With the number of players getting out of the memory market it does actually make sense to buy now (or in the near future).

Worst case, get 2x 8GB so you can add more later. You'll only pay about a $10 - $20 premium for that option.

Get a better case if you're going to be spending that much... there are a lot more options out there:

Examples:

NZXT Switch 810 or Phantom

Silverstone Fortress or Raven

Corsair Obsidian 700 or 800

Etc....;)

Could I just get a second 120 GT later? Or should I go for the 240 now?

You have a 3k budget and you didn't go LGA2011?! Have you ordered the IVB already, because if you haven't I would go with the 3930k and I've been more than happy with the ASUS P9X79 Deluxe, but with that kind of budget, IVB doesn't make much sense imho, even more so since you're going to be using applications like CAD that can benefit from quad-channel memory and intel 6-core procs.

What are you primarily going to be using this computer I guess is the real question, not everything you're going to do with it but will you mostly use it for work or play?
