Vertex 3 or Vertex 4?

Hi, I have a MBP 2,4GHz i5 and I want to upgrade it with an SSD, and I want a Vertex one, but wich on is the best between the Vertex 3 and the 4?

if u look for 120gb and over i will say vertex 4 for sure.

Vertex 4. It may not have the raw power but should be more reliable (modified Marvell chip) and linear speed on non compressable data.

Is there any reason in particular that you are sticking with OCZ? There are a lot of other good SSD manufacturers out there. Corsair, Samsung, and Sandisk tend to have good drives as well.

Consider like Crucial m4 (sweet deal, but only in US atm. I believe), or Samsung 830. Especially m4 rocks in price/gb

I hear a LOT of horror stores about OCZ drives.... I thought about getting one as they are good bang for the buck but the failure rates are very high. I am going to get a Samsung 830 one instead. I thought also, about a Crucial M4 but I heard of performance issues with Media Jukebox.

One of my co-workers just got a Samsung 830 for his 13" Early 2012 MBP. He loves it.
