Battlefield 4 Beta Advertised on Origin
Title confirmed by Medal of Honor: Warfighter promotion.

Pre-ordering Medal of Honor: Warfighter on Origin will gain buyers access to the Battlefield 4 beta, according to an advertisement on EA's digital distribution service. This is interesting considering EA and DICE have yet to make a Battlefield 4 announcement of any kind, and because Battlefield 3 downloadable content will continue until March 2013.

Clicking through the pre-order button yields no additional information about Battlefield 4, nor does the official Battlefield website.

While EA hasn't actually announced Battlefield 4, the idea of a sequel is hardly a surprise for the Battlefield series. Battlefield 3 continues to sell well and more than 800,000 people have signed up for Battlefield Premium.

Rumors of new Battlefield games have been swirling for some time now. Electronic Arts president Frank Gibeau confirmed Battlefield 4 in an off-handed comment last year, and Battlefield Bad Company 3 appeared on an employee resume recently. In addition, a retailer listed a title called Battlefield Evolved back in March.

Sigh...and just after I finally got Premium...

MOH looks like what BF3 should have been with goodies from Bad Company. Guided missile strikes back and all the goodies. Just a shame I have bad memories of the last MOH beta. Gah, just utter horrid. I knew MOH would flop the moment I tried that multiplayer beta.

Well BF3 will be releasing the DLC you paid your Premium for well into next year so I don't think BF4 is coming out anytime soon. It's just promotion to sell more copies of MOH

I never touched the MP in the first MOH but the SP was really good the downside of it was that it was VERY short.

Yeah and originally BF3 beta access was promised to LE owners of a previous MOH and when it rolled around finally it was open to all.

And I agree that BF4 should not be advertised already in any capacity.

$70 just to get into the beta?? Lol, thats even worse then what ArenaNet/NCsoft wanted to charge me for GW2 & GW2 closed beta entry.

Sorry EA..... Its not going to happen, just like I never managed to get into the GW2 beta but i did save enough to treat myself to a steak dinner for the next few days by not pre-ordering from them directly.

I would like everyone who has origin to go to the store page of MoH and what you will find is that it does not say anything about BF4. So basically this is fake, and most like photoshopped work.

Why battlefield 4 already :/ ... Releasing a sequel on the same engine with "tweaks" is just plain lame for an FPS, would have preferred to see spin off's of the game instead like 2142 or Bad Company 3.

You can bet IGN is trustworthy with their press releases, just not with their reviews
