As long as they don't get caught they think its ok.
when they are caught out they whine whinge and appeal to try and get legal decisions thrown out or changed to suit them (often at the expense of rivals)
all major multinationals do it not just American.

Like it or not often cases brought by the EU eventually give American citizens more rights as American Courts see multinational Business practices caught out by the EU and realise that this also Deprives Americans of Choice Value Security.
