What is the configuration you want to power-up?

You can go here:

http://www.corsair.com/en/power-supply-units.html

and find out for yourself what's the difference between Corsair PSU series. M stands for "modular"

thanks for replying so fast...

Right now i have a basic pc...
But i am going to upgrade to
i7 3770K
8Gb G.Skills RAM
2 2TB WD HDD
GTX 680 2GB/4GB or GTX 690 if its price lowers..

IF price of 690 doesnot drop down i will use 2 680s in sli.....

So i need a PSU which can support this beast of a system.... I think 850W will be sufficient or should i go for higher one....

My dealer hear says a corsair 430W cx can easily support i7 2700K...with GTX 580....which i think is ridiculous because my 9600GT recommended Power is 600W...

As Crap Daddy said, what are your system specs? The general difference between the lines of Corsair PSUs is the efficency and cable management(modular or not). Also the OEM differs. The best line is the AX line, then the HX v2, both the AX and HX are modular, then the TX v2 (non modular) and TX M (modular). I would avoid the GS and CX series, since you are spending almost 185 dollars.

Ups, to slow.

Dont even think about running a gtx580 and an i7 3770K +ram+2 hard drives+some fans on the cx430. That dealer must be smoking some good stuff, :)
Seriously, go for at least a TX650. But for 150 dollars you can get the AX650 or maybe the AX750 for 170 dollars to be more future proof. Oh and the AX and HX lines have 7 yeras warranty, so you are good for quite some time.

Seasonic unless there is a re-branded seasonic under the Corsair name and of course if it's cheaper although do some research before buying..

try to stay away from ANYTHING OCZ

Seasonic and Corsair are leaps and bounds better when it comes to power supplies.

The first Corsair PSU that I got died after 2 days. Got an OCZ PSU about 20 quid cheaper that's running perfectly fine.
