I like Geforce. Radeon cards are not good. They are of low quality and dont support Physix. thats why I want to always buy a Geforce card.

I dont really see why ATI is still manufacturing video cards. Given the fact that 99.99% of the people tend to buy Nvidia cards.

And I dont see how ATI/AMD is still in business when they are obviously not wanted. There are maybe less than 1% of the people who

buy their crap products. Their CPUs and GPUs are crap and slow compared to Intel and Nvidia.

i have to get it on Finance. Because i dont have the money to pay $600 in cash.

At least on finance, i can only pay $7 or $8 a week which is very affordable than paying the whole money in cash.

hopefully the company will approve my application to get it on finance.

What are the common criteria to get something on finance?

PhysX is completely useless except for a few titles out there, and even then its more or less completely useless except for 5-20 games which you can see the difference, depending on how good your eyes are. Out of those you can see, you will only play maybe 3 games. I would not give it any attention at all when it comes to choosing graphics card.

Either way, good luck with your finance application, although I think you will be much better off paying everything upfront, anything above 2% interest pa you are paying more than you should.

Do you do payday loans too? :banghead: Bye the way your loan has everything to do with FICA not your job. Which is another thing that makes no since. So if you owe money you will probably get the loan. If not then the answer will be no.

What are the common criteria to get something on finance?

Your average earnings, what other debts you have, cash assets for example.
Just make sure you know what you are paying including interest and other overheads because I doubt you will be paying $600 for a GTX670 in New Zealand besides the one on special from Galaxy.

@18% interest over 4 years you will pay $846 for a $600 card. Payment will be $17.62 a month. But that does not take into account. Late fees, other fees, penalty's and what ever else they deiced to just charge you.

Find how much interest on top is what you need to find out primarily when doing an HP.
Finance companies would prefer you paid less per week as interest gets extended over a longer period which means they earn more from you.
There is also the overheads which finance companies tend not to mention.
For example, there will be a fee just for the paper work involved on their end.

Widjaja: yes. The stats are everywhere. nearly 100% of the people tend to buy Nvidia and Intel products.

AMD/ATI is just pushing themselves in the market where they are obviously not liked.

For me Physix means a lot. and only Nvidia card support this feature. its a huge feature.

I ordered the GTX 670 from playtech.co.nz . they support Gilmore Finance as well.

I applied to get it off the Gilmore Finance. I filled out the application online.

do you think they will approve my application to buy it on finance?

It costs $600.

oh jesus, if there was a poll here that was voted on by everyone on TPU you would most likely fine that 50% of people go Intel and 50% go AMD. That same logic can be said for GPUs as well. Physics is a gimmich for Nvidia to sell more cards. The only Game coming out this year that I know of that uses PhysX is Borderlands 2 and even then thats only 3 of its features. Dynamic liquid, clothing, and particles. I can tell you have not been around computers and informed on what is going on technology wise for very long.

AMD/ATI cards are actually VERY high quality, just as good as Nvidia. Nvidias Geforce Fermi GTX400 series were pretty shitty in regards to quality. AMD is very much wanted in this industry. They provide a much needed competition against Nvidia. Have you ever heard of a monoply? If AMD/ATI were not making Video cards nvidia would be the only one making them, and the pricing would be through the roof.

I didn't see those posts you replied to. I'm going to close this thread as the OP can't seem to figure out the topic and some of the topics that have been discussed have no business being discussed on this forum.
