Well I don't really have one though am going to have to say right now it's Sapphire as my 7950 overclocks to nearly 1.1ghz core on stock volts

And I voted no for allowing 3dfx, as they were kick ass back in the day but they no longer manufacture GPU's.

There's a handful of brands that excel at certain aspects of graphics card manufacturing. I'll only mention the ones known for fairly reliable product and customer support. Note that I would include Sapphire were I still an AMD/ATI customer, but after over 7 years of bad experiences with two of their cards, that ain't gonna happen.

EVGA is great for offering high binned chips, a 3 mo upgrade program, and transferable warranty, yet has yet to go the extra mile and offer non reference air cooling.

ASUS is great for offering high binned chips, excellent non reference cooling, and some of the highest attainable OCs, yet their cards often have a less stable frame rate window and higher price.

Gigabyte is great for offering excellent non reference coolers at great prices, but the OC results are hit and miss, indicating less reliable binning.

MSI, what can I say, they seem to do it all lately. They obviously have high binned chips since they can quite often beat even ASUS TOPs while running at higher temps and lower clocks, yet they offer a very affordable price with features and parts built for extreme OCers.

So for me, MSI is leading the pack lately. They offer a great product at a great price, and despite often leading in sales, they don't seem to have problems running out of stock.

Sorry for being biased, but I don't include Sapphire because I only buy Nvidia anymore. That said, were I to be inclined to consider both chip vendors still, Sapphire would easily be at the top of the AMD based list.

3DFx Needs to be there imho. Along with any others past or present. Otherwise how will we explain to these kids the history of how gaming came to be. Somewhere they need to be able to read some history.

XFX has been good to me from way back in the day of my 6600GT. I remember reading "Pine Technology" on a sticker of the card. I was like WTH! But their 'double' lifetime warranty , non-reference designs, and modder-friendly warranty were all positives back in the day.

I also like Sapphire today as much. I just have a longer history with XFX.

Asus Geforce series. Have had Direct CU II since it was possible and now I am the happy owner of so far 1X680 Direct CU II. My brother and mother got 1X560TI OC TOP each and they are happy for it as well.
