When I turn on my Pc. I see on the screen the Nvida video card info. Like this:

Nvidia GT8500 512 MB RAM
Ver 60.86.37.00.02
Nvidia corp. Copy Right
1996 - 2006

Typically, see all letters in white. (NORMAL)

Problems:

1.
The problem is that some times some letters appears in RED
and when I go to play for example GTA San Andreas it start Blinking or something like that the graphics get lost, then the screen go black, sometimes i get blue screen error if I just turn off the Pc.

2.
When I am working in win 7 the screen goes weird, as spotted.

Every was fine before the letter in the info. Get red.

Help Please.
How can fix it.

Thanks.

Have you OC'ed the card recently?

Check drivers.

Reseat the card and blow out any dust inside it.

Sounds like you have a faulty card.

This is not a driver problem, because the problem is seen at the bios stage. Remove any overclock and blow out any dust from the cooler, too.

That's a pretty old and weak card too, so treat yourself to a nice new one. You won't regret it. :)

symptoms

when you see letters or images changing color on the screen where they were normal b4 it usually means that the ram chips on your vga are gone bad , otherwise when you see blurry or messed up things on the screen in that case usually the graphics chip is faulty or cracked joints between chip and vga board , usuall service takes to reball the chip
