Try a BIOS from TPU's BIOS collection, perhaps?

Be aware that flashing a graphics card can brick it unrecoverably, before you try another flash.

I want to unlock my zotac gtx 465 graphics card. It has 10 memory and unlocking is possibble.

I downloaded gtx470 bios from in here.

http://www.mvktech.net/component/option,com_remository/Itemid,26/func,fileinfo/id,3227/

I updated its bios successfully. But Still My operating system knows my graphics card as gtx465. I am using Windows 8. What is the reason of this ?

Hi,

What did you do exactly? Just flashing the bios on your GTX 465? Are you sure you have an unlockable GTX 465? If I remember it correctly there are some steps that needed to be done first before you can turn the card into a GTX 470. I am not sure, but I thought that erasing the EEPROM entirely (via some command from nvflash) before flashing the modified bios is one of the requirements, and that's a very dangerous thing to do, since if something goes wrong during the bios flash then the videocard will be bricked/dead.

Correct, you have to wipe the EEPROM completely before reflashing.

So before you do the flash you have to run nvflash --eraseeeprom.

Then when you flash the bios you have to use nvflash -4 -5 -6 gtx470.rom.

I dont have very much hardware information. Just I read somethings about unlocking in somewhere. Such as, if it has 10 memory, it can be unlocked. So I am not sure exactly.

I tried below.

1. download bios gtx470 and boot system.
2. nvflash --eraseeeprom
3. nvflash -4 -5 -6 gtx470.rom
4. restart computer

While I was doing these, I didnt meet any problem.
