No, you should keep your cards. You're not even one generation out yet, wait for the next batch of cards to release sometime in early 2013.

Agree with erocker. If anything you could add a second monitor or get a 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 monitor...

Can't tell, someone might come out with something completely awesome (or horribly coded) tommorow which breaks the dual 570's back. At current estimation, with 1080p maybe good for a year or more depending on how much AA you are putting.

okay so since my dual gtx570 is still in a good shape and will possibly work for another year or so then i shouldn't have to worry about upgrading it. gives me enough time to save up when that time comes.

You have too much power under the hood. Your GPUs still rock :rockout:

Save the money for another high end crossfire/sli in the next gen.

I replaced my two gtx 570's with two 7950's purely for the extra vram, not that it was cost effective, and not a huge upgrade, but after selling the old cards and the games with the deals, i only spent about £40 on the upgrade in total. Now i can throw up SSAO, AA and MSAA to max on everything.

wait 6 years to upgrade

The way console ports to pc are going, and the latest benchmarks for games, he's actually likely correct in his thinking xD that card will likely run everything for the next 6 years at an acceptable level, and some games are more cpu intensive. But enthusiasts like to upgrade merely because there is an option to.
