Disabling Compress Old Files

If this has been answered before, sorry I haven't found it.

Is there a way to stop windows from compresssing unused files? Tired of doing it with disk cleanup and seeing blue files.

Thanks Nams I did the regedit so it doesnt show up in disk cleanup anymore. But this also means that any future compression is gone right?

As long as you don't check that box in drive properties.:toast:
