From what I understand you do not need to install a CAP, it is included.

Anyone know where they moved the cap list on the new layout features.Gonna go try some games with these drivers.The new layout features is for gaming and some new sub menus for video and what not.

Is there a changelog? Just wondering if there is meant to be any bugs fixed (not that I have encountered any on my seemingly flawless 7950) or performance gains to be had.

Supposed to significantly improve latency performance in Skyrim, Borderlands 2, and Guild Wars 2. Reoprts on Guru3D have indicated it also removes texture flickering in these and some other games.

On latency, some have reported just smoother gameplay with same FPS, while others have reported an increase in FPS as well (the latter may only be noticed at above 1080p res).

Funny how some keep talking smack about AMD and advocating Nvidia is supreme, when AMD just keeps improving their drivers lately while Nvidia struggles with some of the top games.

You should see the folks bashing the Ares 2 on W1zzards review. I had a pop at them. As for AMD, they at least paid attention to the tech report(?) article about latency but they really ought to do more with crossfire to be honest. Unless certain games are pre 'hobbled' by interested parties...

It's making me anxious to reinstall Skyrim and this time use several mods now that I have a GPU that can handle it. I've been a bit slow at deciding which mods I want to use, but now I feel I have waited for the right time.

BTW, tried the ARMA 1 sp campaign on an older system and it was very poorly optimized and bugged, with pretty bad AI. Is ARMA still crap for the sp campaign, or worth a try?

As an example, I wasn't particularly fond of Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising, and especially Red River. I would hope ARMA 2's campaign is at least better than that.

I'm installing these and will try them out when I get home in a bit. I'll report back how they flow with 7970 cfx, anxious to see how they do with Crysis 3beta

Installed the driver, noticeably Skyrim is now buttery smooth with no slowdowns at all. Used to notice the odd slowdown and lag from time to time on older drivers, but absolutely seems nailed.

Will try BF3 at a later date! (Having said that can't say how BF3's performance can be improved, seems pretty perfect on my setup)
