Quad core is better. Lenevo, HP, Dell, AToshiba do not manufacture any of the hardware. They just put em together.

My find has a 1T HDD and not a refurb CDWall...... Your is $479 vs $599. Both good values. Samsung over his budget.

Nothing wrong with it just found a couple others to plop on there. $80 over budget on the samsung for a substantially better gamer.... :toast:

I've edited my post. The arguing that ensues in these threads is ridiculous/childish...I'd prefer not to be involved.

Think I'm going to just get this one. Is better than what I have and has everything I want. So much bloatware will have to get that taken off but pretty fair price I feel. This laptop is just an extension of what I have with the keyboard I like and the H/K speakers. More Ram and bigger HDD.

That has a A6-3400 processor. You not thinking. The one I listed is way better CPU and GPU wise..... You ask advise and change your mind like the wind.

The on die GPU is the 6420HD and the Lenevo I listed has the 7660HD which is considerably better plus Your is a Llano 2 core processor and the Lenevo is a Trinity 4 core processor.

Can you send me a link with an A10 Processor chip in it? Again I'm trying to keep cost under $600.

A8-4500M $450 The A8-4500 is actually pretty close to the performance of the A10

Check tigerdirect, amazon, microcenter. There are other sites but I normally only buy from these 3. My preference is mainly amazon and tigerdirect for online purchases. I have a microcenter nearby that I love and prefer buying everything from because their no questions return/replacement warranty is awesome.

I tend to avoid HP laptops like the plague as I've owned 3 and never had good experience with them. The plastic body and chassis really sucks. They pop out, creeks, feel cheap, etc... The new ones look decent but still sucks for the price.

Lenovo is Chinese but it is high end chinese product. Its quality is pretty good for the price. I bought the Y580 on sale for $750 + ~50 in tax and stuff so $800 and it's a great laptop for the price. I do wish they use a bit less plastic though.

It's actually a Llano Quad-Core (granted traditional quad-core, not Bulldozer style quad-core) compared to a Trinity Quad-Core (quad-"core", Bulldozer style quad-core). Neither of them have 6 or 8 cores in any way, or run 6 or 8 threads.

OOps I was adding hypethreading dumb ass me A6=2 cores A10=4 cores..... I am Intel minded sometimes.... My bad

Anyway, he is better with a Trinity processor the A10 with 7660 graphics than the Llano with 6420.

This is the worst advise. I tested the Intel 4000 graphics. Choppy and unplayable at times. AMD's 7660D blows the Intel 4000 away MxPhenom. Actually have it in a rig..... and have a Trinity, there is no comparison.

Dude, I would love to try out any drug you are on.

The samsung that I said to get has an i5, and a HD7730. Its no 7660, but its better then the HD4000.

You always say you test this shit, yet you don't give us your benchmark numbers, so we can't take anything you say as credible.

The one I listed was a 7660D did not see the 7730 but AMD is better.

drdeath, he replied to my post with the link about the $625 laptop

I think that it is a great value with i5 cpu and radeon 7730. The 7730 can actually run crysis 2 at very playable fps with settings on medium.

Honestly, buy the A8 and save yourself a few hundred bucks. You can find them for as cheap as 399. It gives you decent performance at an unbeatable value pricing.

Take that money and wait for extreme sales that happens every week. I bought my laptop with an i7 processor and 660gtxm and i almost never use it for gaming. I should've just bought an A8/A10 to save $400 and gain 2 additional hours of battery life. I spent about $600 putting my gaming computer together i5 3570k + Asrock Z77 extreme4 for $220 + R7850 $165 + Vertex 3 120GB $70, + 1TB Velociraptor ~150 + $60 TT V9/DVD drive + 8GB DDR 1866 for $25. I used my windows 7 64 bit from my old pc and it works without problem.
