So you didn't like the SP on Warfighter ? :confused:I just finished it up.
6 level the last 2 nights. I liked it. Still hate the MP, but at
least I don't feel totally burned.

Didn't like it really at all. End was so anticlimactic

I'm trying to not get too excited about bf4.. I don't want to get let down when I realize it's only an engine that's not as bright as the old engine and a map pack.... :banghead::banghead:

Oh and MAILMAN.... hehehe waits patiently... :D

BC2 was the best...I played BF3 for a while but it was not the game it should have been.

They shrank down everything to make the graphics look better and killed the game play with that.

If they would come out with a BC3 with the same size and models it would be awesome.

I have the same exact opinion. BF3 is good, don't get me wrong, but BC2 was/is miles better. I hope BF4 takes notes from BC2 gameplay.

the map i was most disappointed with was Wake Island. I spent so many hours on that map in BF2 it was just heartbreaking to see it the size of a shoebox

I just don't agree. I went back to try BC2 after playing BF3 for a few weeks...and it just felt dated and less "rich", for lack of a better term. I dunno, maybe I'm easier to please in this way.

Well Operation Hastings is Vietnam of course it feels dated:roll: JK ! I played a round of Panama Canal about a week ago and had a lot of fun. There is a lot I miss about it. I thought prone was a big deal until after I play BF3 for a year and figured out I hardly ever use it. Guess it is a big deal if you are a camper or maybe recon which I don't even have half of one service medal for.

Product-Reviews.net - Battlefield 4 60fps trailer shows true quality

By Alan Ng, 02 April, 2013

If you haven’t seen the amazing 17 minute gameplay footage of Battlefield 4 yet, you don’t know what you are missing. The good news is that the same video just got even better. Previously, the video was only available in a heavily compressed format on YouTube but now we have a full 1080p video at 60 frames per second for you to drool over.

This new video now gives you the opportunity to view the 17 minute gameplay in its true form – uncompressed and in high-bitrate format, courtesy of the technical experts over at Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry. The difference in quality may not be too apparent for the casual gamer, but PC enthusiasts who pride themselves on the latest hardware should definitely appreciate this video.

The trailer is taken from the PC version of the game if you hadn’t already guessed and utilizes DICE’s new Frostebite 3 engine – technology that won’t be available on the Wii U unfortunately. We’ve heard a lot of criticism already on how Battlefield 4 just looks like an updated version of Battlefield 3, but we have to disagree.

We have only seen the single-player campaign don’t forget and the big talking point will come when DICE finally shows off multiplayer. The game is launching before the end of the year with a beta planned, and we can’t wait to see what is now possible on next-generation consoles like the PS4 and Microsoft’s next Xbox console.

If DICE manage to produce the same real-time gameplay and lighting effects as what we see here in this 60FPS single-player gameplay, then we are definitely in for an amazing treat nevertheless – especially since it’s now looking likely that Battlefield 4 will end up as a PS4 launch title.

You can stream the 60FPS gameplay here, or download it to play on your HDTV over at Eurogamer as well. Take another look at the gameplay and let us know if you notice the level of added quality or not. Are you impressed with Battlefield 4 so far, or do you need to see more?

Well I use prone plenty to try to get better, sudden cover such as behind a smaller hump in the terrain or a felled tree when taking fire from an unknown location. Or at the very least not provide such a large target, though I usually end up getting killed anyway if nothing to block the bullets.

Huh? Did you play Wake Island on BF3? The map is still huge. They only slightly reduced the airspace to keep jets from just doing bombing runs all round. The landmass itself is just as large.

Also I hate the Horse Shoe of Fail. I have had 1 enjoyable round in it in 4 games and I am just plain sick of seeing it. I hope they finally retire that PoS.

I don't know, it feels much smaller to me, too, it must be the engine. Bandar is supposedly the largest BF map ever, and it seems tiny compared to Dragon Valley or Operation Road Rage. It takes a lot of strategy out of Wake Island not being able to destroy the bridges, that added a ton to the game play.

Don't mention El Alamein :( I miss that map.

Yea, I wish like hell they would re make that map and bring modding back to BF... So, another studio like "Trauma Studios" could make another Desert Combat! :toast: I wish Frank Delise didn't sell Trauma Studios to Dice for them to not make a proper DC.. They bought them to kill it off for BF2. Don't get me wrong I loved BF2, but I loved DC as well and wished they would have let them mod BF2 and add an updated DC to it. Frontlines sucked ass as a multi player game.. Nothing like DC.. they could have done so much better using Dices BF2 engine.
