I want to know which fan is the best and for what reason it is the best FOR GRAPHIC CARDS

That's pretty vague.....

Generally double fan but it depends if the heatsink or vapor chamber below it is the full length to allow the fans to work. Usually twin fans also dump heat in the case but single fans are radial blowers and exhaust it out the back.
Twin fans tend to cool better and are quieter. May end up taking more space due to a larger more efficient heatsink.

also depends on the GPU being used. lower end ones tend to do good with a single fan. My gigabyte 7770 has 1 fan and it stays just as cool as my sapphire 7870, with both idling in the low 30 C range and never going over 60 C. My 7870 has the dual X fans, so there you have it. It really depends on several factors, not just a single answer.

go with double is the best quieter and cooler... There's no chance single fan matches the level of cooling and the silent of two fan with larger heatspreader.

Dont bother with the heat inside the case.

like everyone els said. do it based on brand/type of card and case airflow,

i personally like 1 fan that blows all the air out the back of the case. since i have a mid tower and it does get kind of hott some days which wouldn't help at all if i had a card just dumping hot air in the case.

just a reminder - some people have water cooling loops with a rear mounted 120mm/140mm radiators and use them as intakes. so if your having a ton of air blowing out the back of the case from your gpu you don't want that sucked into your radiator so switch them to exhaust if you have a radiator mounted on the rear of your case.

Water cool it, dual fan on radiator

I don't think I've ever had a dual fan GPU come to think of it, always single fan, some exhausted out the back like my 6950s and 7970s and back in the day my 5770s (egg version) blew into the case.

I built my bro's pc with a Sapphire dual fan 7850, and it stayed quiet and cool on full load @50*C. That was a nice card!

i have a Evga 660 ti atm. you should look into both types of cards amd or nvidia and compare the best performance review for around your price range. or just make a topic for it and give your price range, people will help you

i cant give you recommendations because ive never touched a amd card. lol and fanboys will get super angry if i tried pushing someone on a certain brand in a thread

Depends on the application and what you are planning to achieve.

In terms of cases fans, some people prefer one large fan with lower rpm to reduce noise yet have similar air flow as two smaller fans with higher rpm and higher noise.

Zotac ( the AMP series )
XFX ( there are nice double fan models but only AMD GPU's)

yes but " i want to know which is best and why" doesnt help. Are you looking to purchase a new gfx card? looking for aftermarket cooling? these are the type of things that help answer questions rather than just asking a general question without any detail.

I just read through this thread and I have to say, I have no idea what the OP is trying to say and what Aleksander is expecting us to tell him. I don't have an answer because I don't get the question.

Explain what you're attempting to do or accomplish and explains what you mean when you say "dual" or "single" fan.

I don't want to have to go fishing for information to your problem, but do you mean two fan that are setup to push and pull on both sides of the CPU cooler?

I think it depends on what you're looking for. My TwinFrozr II runs quieter but doesn't move as much air. With fresh paste it's about the same temperature but for some reason the compound dries out quickly on the TwinFrozr II. I'm actually due to reapply it again.

The reference design with the squirrel cage fan can get really loud but moves a ton of air. I find that the reference design overclocks better but is a lot louder to do it, but at stock and with minor overclocks the TwinFrozr offers you great performance without much noise.

So it depends on what you want.

What is important to you on a video card, temperature or noise, and which one is more important to you?

I always downclock video cards, even the integrated one, which I used when I was left without any card.
Both are very important to me, but noise is somewhat irritating.
At least something which is not loud.
This makes me think that double fans are quiet and cooler, because they have two which work for less
