The wide body, low-pitch blades of the SP120 fans combined with the custom housing provides outstanding static pressure and airflow through heatsinks or radiators. With rubberized corners, a quiet and reliable Advanced Hydraulic Bearing, and PWM support for increased fan speed control, the SP120 truly is the strong, silent type.

Features
•The SP120 High Performance Edition, at full RPM, has outstanding static pressure, up to 3.1mm/H2O, when used on a radiator or heatsink.
•4-PIN PWM Support for increased fan speed control.
•Seven wide body, low-pitch custom blades for optimal static pressure at very low noise levels.
•Custom fan enclosure for ducting air in the right direction with minimal interference.
•Advanced Hydraulic Bearing for reliable, quiet operation.
•Rubberized corners for sound damping when installed with standard screws.
•User-replaceable colored rings so you can match your fans to your case

Corsair really should make a SP140 fan for 140mm heatsinks, and radiators.

The original series of fans were released with 140mm versions, I had a pair. looking for a set now. (of course they weren't PWM)

Yes the AF series. Not the SP which is Static Pressure, aimed for heatsinks and radiators, while the AF series are designed for normal case fans for air flow.

yes, but then again 65 CFM isn't exactly great airflow either so the lame rating on the SP is a given;)

CFM < Static Pressure for radiators and heatsinks. The SP120s High Speeds have 3.1 Static pressure. I run 2 on my 240 rad and its a Black Ice X Flow with like 20+ FPI and the SP120s blow air right through it @ only 1500rpm.

I know all about air flow and static pressure, my point was more that their 140s were really neither AF or SP. Who knows, they may come out with new 140s, but my guess is they dropped them from lack of sales due to the laughable ratings;)

If these are basically the same fans that are on the new H60 then no thanks. That thing sounded terrible.

When I reviewed the original SP120s my biggest complain was that they weren't PWM.

But really, there are better fans if you are after static pressure that already had PWM.
