I don't suppose anyone can reccommend a good cheap (~$20) physX card to run with a 7870?

I've been looking around, but all the older cards that are reccommended as PhysX are kinda Pricey.

I'm buying a 7870 from newegg

XFX Double D FX-787A-CDFC Radeon HD 7870 GHz Editi...

And it seems like a steal at $211 with 3 games (which I will most likely sell) and am thinking cheap physX would be nice to go with the card.

Dedicated physx is pointless, and the hack only works for a limited number of games and has serious stability issues. I used a GTX 275 i bought off ebay for £26, and after 2 days of playing physx games i realised it was pointless and a waste of power and heat production.
If you're set on physx dedicated cards, then find something second hand off of ebay, no sense in buying something new that's only going to use about 10% of the GPU anyway.
Or just buy an NVidia card...

Yea.. I was just thinking about it, maybe I should go for a 660Ti over a 7870. The thing is that the price is $230 vs. $210 for the same performance. With only 1 game (Metro LL) The end price comes up even more (assuming I would sell the games).

I've gotta think some more :/

:confused:Whhhaaaaaa......

The 660Ti matches the 7950 in performance, the standard 660 matches the 7870...

And the 660 is significantly cheaper than the 7870 right now, you can pick up the MSI TwinFrozr for $175 with Metro:LL.

I'm not counting the MIR as I am not in the US. Let me start a new thread with my choices.
