Usually companies just sticking their badges on PSUs use the lowest bidder for a given PSU as they are contracted at specific price points thus one model could be from company A and another model from company B and so on. You can usually find out who makes a specifc model PSU by reading the PSU reviews at Jonnyguru or Hardware Secrets as they disclose who the real manufacturer is.

Yes I know - usually our own crmaris deals with this - he gives a better review than JonnyGURU and Hardware Secrets on PSU´s - IMO....

And as radrok already said - it is prob Etasis who made the unit.....

When new PSU is going to be released the most important question is: "Is it Haswell compatible?" xD

This would be stupid to spend big money on psu which couln't handle low power states of haswell.

This one is most certainly "Haswell compatible". Only inexpensive PSUs that are group regulated and don't use DC to DC for the non-primary rails are not Haswell ready.

It's not Etasis. And yes, crmaris does a VERY good PSU review. :)

Who is making the PSU´s for EVGA? And what is the prize?

We're thinking this particular one is Super Flower. The 1500W is Etasis, but all of the other "NEX" series PSUs are based off of the FSP Aurum platform.

One of EVGA's product managers confirmed on their discussion board that this PSU is based on the Super Flower Leadex platform. That's good news since the Leadex did very well indeed in testing on Jonnyguru's site.
