It is just Google wallet, and both parties have to have a google wallet account. Nothing impressive here.

Now if they could manage to do it without requiring the receiving party to sign up with google wallet that would be impressive...

that is cool. i don't know if my bank will let me do that. i just use paypal if i need to send cash electronically. i am not sure if google wallet will take the place of paypal.

Yeah, Chase lets me do that too, but the person receiving the money has to sign up with Chase Quickpay. Once they are signed up they can have the money deposited in any bank.

Though I can also just have Chase cut them a check and send it snail mail too.
