That's a M5A99X Evo, not an FX. Just don't want people getting confused.:toast:

Great board, I own two...tempted to pick up this one.

Also, anyone concerned about I/O Shields, they are readily available on ebay or you can buy them direct from ASUS @ estore.asus.com.

edit: have i understood right? it is OC 7970 not 7970ghz edition.
pcb is black right? your shadow makes it unclear if it is dark blue that looks black because of shadow or it is just black
can you pls give some more info about it? vram, core clock etc. best would be manufacurer code so i can check it out myself

It has black/brown pcb. I have no idea on clocks.
