If i was going get another it would be the samsung 840 pro due to performance and warranty. They were out of stock when i got my Corsair Force GT's although nothing wrong with them but sammys have 2 extra years on them.

So why not one of these OCZ RevoDrive 110GB, PCIe x4 for a change?

The samsung 840 pro models have exceptionally good reviews, some of the best but recently the new Toshiba SSD's (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-029-TS&groupid=701&catid=2104&subcat=1427) (or US : Computer Hardware, SSD, Internal SSD, Toshiba, 91...) have also been very highly praised.

I forgot to mention the samsungs, they are good from what I read and you mention warranty which I didn't even think about so that's reassuring. Toshibas seem fast but not many own them yet it seems.

I'm considering samsung seems reliable. I just figure newer drives are better/faster.

So why not one of these OCZ RevoDrive 110GB, PCIe x4 for a change?

Well ocz makes me nervous lots of negative feedback. I saw the revodrive, but I would have clearance issues as I use a fan over my northbridge and only PCIe slot is in that area.

OCZ is fine as long as you stick to the new Vector SSD series. It has a brand new controller which corrected its reliability issues.

Most people don't have the Toshiba's because they are the new kid on the block and this is their first time with an SSD on market.

You should also consider ADATA XPG, Kingston HyperX, and the new Seagate 600. I will recommend any of those in addition to Samsung and Corsair.

so many choices lol. The seagate looks good same speeds across all models and doesn't seem artificially speed limited like some models.

Is this drive for your O/S? If so, go with that Sammy pro. If it's just something you want to keep some games/apps on, go for the non-pro and save some coin.

I want to use as O/S drive basically. I can put small games on it and larger on some platters.

Kingston, Samsung or Intel you can't go wrong with any of those, pretty reliable.

I would vote Kingston HyperX, pretty fast, reliable and above all excellent customer service.

So far I have 1 Patriot, 1 OCZ, 2 x Samsungs, 1 AData and 1 Kingston HyperX, all are working good.

And oh if you have a MC store near by you can get their store brand AData rebranded ones, I believe it has 2 yrs warranty and instant exchange if anything goes wrong.
