Yea, I'll probably just play it over at my brothers house. If I did buy a console it would probably be a PS4, unless xbox 360 or ps3 makes a $99 version. My laptop that I used as a HTPC in the living room for my projector died last week...

I'm getting this weird intermittent buzzing, skipping sound with some YouTube videos lately, and this one's definitely doing it.

My Realtek, Flash, Java, etc drivers are updated. I even uninstalled the Lagarith codec I put on my sys recently in case that was it, and it still does it now and then. I also uninstalled the WMP plugin from my browser, still does it.

This happens with both Chrome and Explorer btw. Maybe if I completely uninstall Flash, then reinstall it. What do you guys think?

Red Dead Redemption was a different developer though. It is up to the developer to port the game to the PC, so the developer decides if there will be a PC version.

I agree that buying an outdated console for this would be a knee jerk reaction. To paraphrase newt, the PC version will no doubt be worth waiting for, so I can wait a half yr or whatever it takes.

Game looks awesome. Finally some mini games that look worth playing, and I like how they even refined the shooting mechanics to be more fluid. There's a lot to do in this game, even road bike riding. Brings me back to my old cycling days.

Yesterday I was involved in a thread someone made on another forum debating whether Naughty Dog or Rockstar are the better dev team, but after seeing this, I see more substance than hype. With TLoU, it seems largely hype.

There's a little for everyone in this game. It has the hunting of Red Dead, the heists of Payday, plenty of interesting RPG and side quest opportunities, and it's still GTA at it's core. This is a much needed San Andreas evolved beyond all expectations.

After having countless issues with pretty much just YouTube, I tried a different DNS. I used this tool to find the best DNS for where I am: https://code.google.com/p/namebench/

Just run it.
Wait a bit.
Get the results and go into your network config, IPV4 properties and change your DNS there.

As I said natr0n's suggestion seemed to work with the problem I was having, which was primarily weird audio clicks, pops, buzzes, and skips, but what you suggested here may well work for the intermittent problems I get sometimes with Chrome hanging whilst loading pages. I've gone back and forth between checking and unchecking it's "Predict network actions.." box, as various guides will tell you to use one or the other when getting the Sending request hang, but this looks like a better solution maybe. The only thing that makes me hesitant is I use Auslogics BoostSpeed, which modifies TCP/IP settings. I'm not sure if it would mess with that.

Mountain bikes? Where did you see mt biking in GTA V? That would be cool. Toward the end of my biking years I actually switched mostly to mt biking, very exhilarating.

Wasn't the kid's bike more of a BMX than mt bike? Maybe I need to look at the vid again. I'd prefer to see the antithesis of the road cycling they showed, full on mt biking. LA has some wicked mt bike trails up in the hills nearby. They could even have a mini game where you hook up with a group of renegade free riders and build some illegal stunt ramps on bootlegged trails. Maybe even be able to combine stunts like mt bike ramps with base jumping. The possibilities are endless.

Yep, Franklin's segment at 1:10 definitely showed the kid to be on a BMX bike, vs a mt bike. Each have their purpose of course, but mt bikes are much better for gnarly trails.

ive been doing mountain biking (mountain climbs, trails and metric century rides) since last year, good break from PC gaming from time to time ^__^

It was a MTB has suss forks on it, looked nicely modelled.

Might be able to find a downhill or two

maybe discover trails and unlock achievements in doing so as well.
Bike looks like a hard tail all mountain type with that long travel shock
