upgrade time (need help)

ok so im on a budget of 300$ and im in a really big need of an upgrade as my current pc is pathetic. i already have the amd athlon ii and want to know should i upgrade this or leave it i already have 8gb ddr3 so thats staying but i will need a new gpu and psu i was think this for the gpu: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321031678030 and this for the psu: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221254625187 and if i upgrade the cpu this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-Phenom-...sor-/130951675844?pt=CPUs&hash=item1e7d53ffc4 but let me know what i should do i cant afford to go over 300$

Agreed, what's your current specs and budget?

Also the PII 8** are weak and not much better than the Athlon II, you really want something along the lines of an PII 9** quad core, but as mentioned we need the rest of your specs to make a proper recommendation

4gb OCZ ddr3 400mhz+4gb samsung ddr3 @533mhz
Nvidia geforce 8400gs 512mb (only good for minecraft0
450 watt OEM psu
amd athlon ii x2 @3.1 ghz socket am3
27 inch hd samsung 1080p monitor
motherboard acer aspire x3400g

What do you use your PC for?

Be careful with used PSU. It's the only component I wouldn't trust buying second hand.

Your PC isn't that bad. The only thing that stands out is the video card. Your processor is OK, if your budget stretches to a quad core buy one, but its the least priority.
