instability causes error corrections, which leads to less points.

a 4.8ghz 8350 should be scoring more than that on physics, a lot more. Or your ram is butt ugly slow and the system is incredibly un tweaked, but even that wont cause a poor physics performance.

4.8ghz should be around 8k physics

ive just seen youre running a single ram module, half the bandwidth will lose points as well.

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7168344

overclocked my gpu and downclocked cpu to 4.7, physics score decreased along with combined.

but graphics increased.

what's wrong?

the gpu is about right now, the physics is probably due to single channel of ram

graphics sore seems very low

This is my HD 7870 @1200/1450

Graphics Score: 8626 <----

HD 7950 @1100/1420

Graphics Score: 8732 <---- Should be much higher

a 7950 at around 1100mhz on core should be going 9k + or even in the 10k area on gfx

Yeah I'm not quite sure whats going on. It seems like it should be better.

High quality under texture filter settings. Does changing that really make a difference? All other settings are use application settings.

It makes some difference sure. Not a huge difference though. Remember, this is a race, not a beauty contest! So when you run benchmarks, set things to PERFORMANCE.

1.4V or so...
Good luck using that. Across..........let's see........ around 6-8 AMD 79xx cards, I couldn't set voltage any higher than 1.35v or I would get artifacting even at stock clocks (temps were well in order). This was even on the high end ones as well. Not sure what is up with that, but at ambient temps, and the cards I had, I couldnt do it.

1.3 is the highest voltage. I don't wanna run it on that 24/7 until I get liquid cooling. Crysis 3 crashed with the last reported overclock. I have a solid benchmark to go from though. Maybe I will hit the 10k club one day.

1.3v gets me up to 1250mhz on air, on water itll probably do about 50mhz more than that.

best ive done was 11.8k on graphics unrecorded due to fake 3d11 copy. but nowadays after a pounding it does 11.5k on good drivers. 13.4 beta 2s or that era.

this is a work in progress, was trying to find better drivers (whqls on this) and my physics is an average of 9500 now

im hoping for a 10.8k total or more tbh, waiting for that cold night!

You should be in the 12k range without tessellation I would imagine... ?

nearly 13k, this would be more but was using latest betas which are crap on 3d11, and had to lower clocks due to them...
