yeah but he will void warranty....

Thats the good thing about G.Skill memories.... they have removable top heat sinks..... I dont have them yet but planning to order one. I like there lifetime warranty and their support.... I sent email asking something, they reply right away...

and taking a hacksaw to the heatsink wont void its at all xD

at least with the ram sinks you can put them back on, hard modding a d14 is a pretty drastic solution even by my standards :lol:

My NH-D14 arrived today, and HOLY SHIT, THIS THING IS HUGE!!!! I mean, I've seen big tower heatsinks before, but DAMN, THIS THING IS HUGE!!!!!!!! I was expecting about twice the size of my A50, but no, it's considerably bigger than two Corsair A50s'.

Oh, did I mention? THIS THING IS HUGE!!!!

For anyone that has never seen one of these things, like me before receiving this one, each side is literally equal to the size of a 3 1/2 inch SSD.

HUGE actually not hugh

I like my NH D14... actually I accidentally ordered the SE version, but good thing about is all you need is 115x kit... it cost 5 bucks..... got the PWM fans I enjoyed this HUGE cooler.... and it is the quietest fan I have ever used...

downside is of course color... buy hey, it doest a really good job... :clap:

Can't wait to get this loud ass H60 out of my tower. Just got to finish this week's assignments for college, then Christmas break starts and I can do a full take-down cleaning of my system and install my new heatsink and SSD

oh youre the guy who bought the D14 in the FS thread? You wont regret it its a very quiet fans.... that guy in the FS actually give me an idea... I could paint any color I wanted.... how about pink? :roll:

planning to spray paint neon green or red depending on my next build... I will take that huge cooler for my next build as I will use my current rig as my normal day to day computer needs.
