Would it be possible to solely water-cool 2 GPU's + is it worth it?

Do they even make a cheaper self contained loop like the H50 for GPU's? If so I sure as hell could use one.

Arctic Accelero Hybrid is the only one currently, which is hurrendously overpriced.

Thats for the 780 not the TI but seems that Palit have kept the same PCB layout from the 780 version which is handy.

Also dont use a Coolant with a dye in it your better off with the EK clear or just H2o.

Hi mate.

If you've got money to burn then I say yes its definitely worth water cooling your cards.

They look sick and you'll have fun in the process.

On the other hand if you don't plan on keeping these cards for very long and money is tight then it just isn't worth it.

I put blocks on my 6970 Xfire and I loved them and all but I did end up losing a bit of cash in the end water cooling them.

Im a west aussie too mate so I know how the heat goes here and water cooling can go along way.

BTW id wait for the EK Laing D5 Vario 12V DC Liquid Cooling Pump to come into stock.

Also mate if you do decide to put blocks on your cards, id be inclined to go the full Monty a get a CPU block as well!

The only snag I can see is the blocks lining up. The fitting/tubing/fitting from GPU1 to GPU2 might be a bit awkward because the inlets on the two different blocks may be staggered. Just keep it in mind. Doesn't make it impossible, just fiddly.

Pretty sure that XSPC 780 block is for Titans and 780's only. You need a 780ti reference block for your EVGA.

That's the only one on the page that will fit an EVGA 780ti, and it's out of stock.

I also probably should have asked; 1050w would suffice for the two 780Ti's with a custom loop and h100i wouldn't it? I saw someone with a build almost exactly the same running on 1000w, but people have told me that 1200/1500 would be a good idea?

You could run that entire setup on 850w at stock in honesty, with overclock just add a decent margin. I ran a full waterloop including CPU + 2 x 780's all overclocked to 1200mhz and the CPU at 4.4GHz on a 1050w PSU and I had plenty of power to spare.

Oh wow haha, that's good to know. I guess the best thing for me to do is wait until the 780Ti water block and that pump come in stock; don't exactly have the money for it now anyway xD

I wouldn't bother watercooling reference 780tis, for a reason, you can't overvolt those GPUs and probably will never be able to.

I honestly can tell you that there is no difference between overclocking headroom given by water at 1.212v compared to air

Now if you could have raised that voltage up to let's say 1.35v-1.4v which many of us titan owners do then a waterblock would make a heck of a difference.

If you also like the look of watercooling then go for it but for completeness's sake include your CPU too, you can do that at the cost of half a fullcover GPU block.

Well i went with water because 1 my build is a ITX 2 i have no air con so i need better cooling than just air.

Well at the moment I have the money to spare, so I figure, why not?

I'd also love to get into serious over clocking. It'd also be my first custom loop, so I'd also consider it a learning experience.
