just add some fans to cool that or just improve airflow. buy small fan and make it flowing fresh air to your mosfet

Because you are using an AIO is why they run so hot in my guess. As Micropage says, add a fan to get some air flowing over them.

try mounting the cooler to the top of the case and have the rear fan blow inward to cool the mosfets

AIO as in the H80. It offers no air flow to the motherboard like an air cooler would.

AIO = All In One water cooler.

Ah silly me haha, new to watercooling... i hate it...

there was still 2 fans blowing on them, but my old case did have crappy airflow

might get a spot cool on them

Here in Finland its against under many Finnish PC forums rules to tell a tip like that, because it's user's fault to broke MB's VRM with overclocking and without a proper cooling to VRM, and it's not suitable reason to RMA the board. It's not a RMA case because the MB doesnt break by itself.

It wouldn't be my first advice either, but I guess it's a bit of a grey area if the mobo is designed for and advertised as overclocking, unless it specifically states the warranty will be voided.

You're right, but still I wouldn't RMA a mobo with fried mosfets if it's an user error for fried mosfets..

edit: Heh, "grey area", that's what I was thinking about but I wasn't sure is it wrote like that.. Straight translation from Finnish it would be that, but I wasn't sure :D

when benching/overclocking i always try to cool front and back of the vrm section.

i prefer high performing thermalpads to paste on blocks like the vrms, a lot less mess

The AMD stock fan works well on front

and the back is up to you..

my new case has a fan mounting position where you have the fan on the back, shame the fan controller is faulty so its getting RMA right now, it did seem to help though

I have used an Antec Spot Cool fan to blow on my hot spots like Ram and VRMs, I recommend getting one. They are usually only about $10 shipped. Really nice, doesn't make much noise if you run it on the low setting and it moves a lot of air. Clip the leds off with a wire cutter so they dont annoy you.
