Maybe your processor or videocard is overheating. Turn of pc. Pull the powercable from the psu. Remove the sidepanel from the case and check if there is much dust.

Very generally speaking, sounds like his PC turns off after a little while. Could be temps, could be a program that causes too much load for PSU blah blah blah. As you said, we need more info, though he claims it is not his GPU overheating.

his display turns off, but his pc continues to run. it might just be windows turning the display off or putting the comp to sleep.

OP, in your Power Options settings in the Control Panel, can you check and see if "turn display off" and "put computer to sleep" have set times? if they do, set it to "never" :), and if they dont, let us know

Create a different profile on the PC and see if that account has the same issue. Also be sure your fully logged out of the original account and not just switched user.

One other thing, exactly how are you tunring your PC off? Are you using the Power button on the PC or are you using the Operating system via the Shut Down icon?

It is easier to take your PC to a local shop where they can get hands on with diagnosis and treatment that way you can speak to them in your native language, not to us in Engrish

my asus motherboard in number screen (number screen say 62 number )whats the mean

A 62 means "installation of PCH services"

Shut down computer...

Reseat ram and video card. You may want to try booting with one stick of ram then another for testing.
Check all power and data connectors.
Boot up computer to the BIOS settings and restore using default settings.

When computer is running:
Run chkdsk on hard drives
You may want to run a memory test, like memtest86.

Remove all USB devices and plug them in one by one after booting up to test.
And, if possible, try a different keyboard.

Some others may have ideas on that 62 error code on the board's led display.

If all else fails... you may have to RMA that motherboard as a last resort.

are you doing something when the display turns off or did you leave it for an extended period of time?
